German silver blade front and notch rear sights, with "P" deeply stamped on the upper left flat of the breech and "DERINGER / PHILADELA" on top, with 7-groove straight rifling and a streaked brown and gray finish. Scroll engraved receiver, with "DERINGER/ PHILADEL" stamping, and engraved hammer, upper tang and bolster. German silver fittings, with scroll engraved accent plate, reverse plate and trigger guard, crown shaped engraving on the escutcheons, pineapple finial, border engraving on the trigger guard, shield escutcheon and teardrop buttplate, and a plain triangular tip insert. Checkered tiger striped walnut stock, with a bird's head butt.

Fine. The barrel shows approximately 50% of the original striped brown, with the remainder showing a clean, gray patina with a few dings on the muzzle. A thin mended crack is visible on the left side from the escutcheon to the tip, with a few tiny chips from around the lock, some light pressure dents and fine grain pattern. Mechanically excellent
