Description:

The right side of each of the four stacked barrels is marked "5.0 1905 crown/ELG pylon star/G." The frame below has just the pylon. The make has not been identified but it is a high quality piece with high scroll engraving overall. The blue trigger folds into the bottom of the flat frame (only 3/8 inch thick) and the front sight/barrel catch and release bar also blue, fit into the top of the frame. The whole pistol is fitted into a brown leather purse with a plated brass snap closure over the rear and bottom edges. (refer to page 243 of Curiosa by Wimimt and page 156 of Pepperbox Firearms by the same author for information on this model of reform pistol).

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 99% plus bright original nickel finish overall with no signs of wear on the pistol. The very fine purse holster has some wrinkles but is still solid. Mechanically excellent.
