Brass bead sight on the barrel and sighting groove on the straight standing breech, with "C. SHARPS/ PATENT 1859" in a circle around the hammer screw on the left side and "C. SHARPS & Co/ PHILADA, PA." on the right side. Barrel release on the underside of the frame, with the barrels finished in blue and the frame finished in silver. Checkered hard rubber grips.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. Approximately 90% of the bright original blue finish is present on the barrels, with patches of mixed brown scattered about, and darker mottled brown concentrated on the muzzles. The silver finish is nearly all present and shows a superb aged patina, with some scattered light spotting and a darker color in the protected areas. Grips are excellent, with a few pressure dents and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
