Catalog Page: 63
Class: Curio & Relic Handgun
Description:

Originally a 1920 Commercial that was converted to a long barrel single shot target model. It has a blank chamber, DWM marked toggle, the barrel is marked "WYATT .45/ PAT. PEND." on the left side, with a Patridge front sight and Elliason adjustable rear sight. The magazine is fixed (double pinned at the base through the frame) )in the grip, with a "cartridge counter"-style cutout in the right panel and a wide stippled trigger. Wyatt went on to make a series of custom 45 Cal Lugers and P-38s. Since the barrel is marked "Pat Pending" this may have been his original prototype.

Rating Definition:

Good as refinished, showing a mix of brown and original blue on the surface, pitting under the finish on the frame, bright edge wear and mild handling marks. Grips are good as noted, with some mild pressure dents. Action is good.

Matching numbers on the small parts, checkered hardwood grips, and nickel magazine with blank wood base. Estimated that less than 1000 total produced. With an extra magazine and a holster for a P-38 pistol.

Rating Definition:

Very good as refinished, with 85% of the current blue, showing a bright gray patina on the high edges, pitting under the surface, and light handling marks overall. The stock lug has been ground off. Grips are good, with some verdigris on the left panel and light pressure dents. Holster is fair as repaired, with a replacement belt strap and scuffing on the leather. Action is very good
