Description:

This is a standard WWII German luger made by the Mauser factory in 1938. The right side of the receiver and barrel have the German Army "Eagle/63" acceptance marks. The top of the chamber is marked "1938" and the toggle "S/42". The safety area and extractor are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN". The complete serial number and letter suffix are marked on the front of the frame, the barrel and barrel extension and it has the correct WWII checkered walnut grips. With one WWII aluminum base magazine.

Rating Definition:

Very good overall with 90% of the original blue finish showing wear on the edges and high spots overall, the muzzle and side plate area with more thinning on the front and rear back straps, with some browning on the rear of the frame by the lanyard loop. The grips are in very good condition overall with only a few minor handling marks with no cracks of damage.
