Dated 1937 on the chamber, with the "S/ 42" code on the toggle. Early eagle proofs on the right side of the extension and the left side of the toggle, and "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" on the upper safety area and extractor, respectively. Excluding the magazine and renumbered side plate, all numbers match. Checkered hardwood grips and blue magazine with aluminum base. In a black leather flap holster marked "R.EHRHARDT/ POESSNECK", "eagle/ WaA29" and "1939" on the back, large "L" scratched on the flap, and an extra "P.08" magazine.

Very good overall with 90% of the wartime blue. The right side of the barrel has turned a pitted gray patina, with additional light erosion around the muzzle and along some of the high edges, a brown patina on the grip straps and side plate, and light handling marks overall. Grips are good overall, very dark, with mild dings and scratches. Holster is good, with mild scuffing and scratching. The stitching for the loading tool pouch has come loose. Action is very good.
