Featuring a barrel with a band of floral engraving, and the right side of the frame has a similar pattern around the edge, with "THE PROTECTOR/ PAT.MCH.6.83.AUG.29.93" in a circle on the side plate. The left side plate is checkered around the border with "CHICAGO FIRE ARMS CO./ CHICAGO, ILL" in a circle at the center, twists off to reveal the magazine, and is numbered to match other components. The rear trigger is fitted with a hard rubber grip, checkered with diamond patterns.

Excellent, with approximately 97% of the original nickel finish remaining and some light nicks and handling marks. The markings and design work remains sharp and clear. The firing pin and hand mechanism are both missing. The hard rubber grips and panels are excellent with light wear and handling marks.
