This is an example of a custom fantasy Mauser marked Luger pistol. The top of the chamber is marked with the Mauser banner and the front toggle link is marked "OBERNDORF / 1934". The left side of the receiver and the breech bloc, right side frame rail and underside of the barrel are marked with the commercial "crown / N" proof mark. The right side of the barrel extension is marked with an "eagle / WaA 66", "eagle / H" and droop wing eagle proofs. The droop wing eagle also appears on the left rear of the barrel. The extractor and safety are marked "GELADEN" and "GESICHERT" respectively. The serial number is marked on the bottom of the barrel, front of the frame and on the left side of the barrel extension with the partial number "85" on most small parts. The backstrap is stamped with two small upside down "2"s and it is cut for a shoulder stock. Straw colored small components, blue unmarked magazine with a pot metal base and fitted with checkered walnut grips.

Refinished and remarked, showing most of the dull arsenal style dip blue finish remaining overall with scattered finished over minor pitting. The safety bar retains most of the straw color while the remaining parts have faded to a smooth gray. The grips are fair showing heavy wear, pressure dents, dings and nicks. There is a small minor crack on the lower front on each panel. The markings are clear and crisp. The mechanics are very good.
