This was the first successful attempt by FNH to produce a semi-automatic rifle after WWII. This rifle has the Venezuelan crest on the receiver ring. The right side of the receiver is marked "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D' ARMES DE GUERRE HERSTAL BELGIQUE" and the serial number. The pistol grip stock and handguard are walnut and the stock is fitted with a partially serrated bright metal buttplate. The right side of the buttstock is marked "FUERZAS ARMADAS VENEZUELA" amid two circles. It has a tangent rear sight, a blade front sight with side protectors and detachable magazine. Complete with leather sling and bayonet with scabbard.
