Solid rib barrel with a nickeled front bead. Choked extra full, 2 3/4 inch chambers, extractor. Right side over the upper barrel chamber is marked with a Luftwaffe Eagle over a Swastika. Casehardened action with double triggers and a tang safety. Round knob pistol grip stock with a White Line vented Pachmayr recoil pad. Pull is 14 1/2 inches. Eagle and Swastika marked on the right side of the buttstock. Checkered forarm, sling swivels with a single page text by Jim Cate titled "A Sauer Luftwaffe Over and Under Shotgun". Consignor states that a Sauer Authority reported that only 8 of these shotguns are known to exist. This gun is stamped "1139" on the barrel making it the earliest of the 8 known. A "Stick Eagle/2" Luftwaffe acceptance mark is stamped on the barrel lug.

Good with 80% thinning blue on the barrels with some light pitting. 20% case color on the action that is mostly silvered-out. Freshened varnish finish on the stock with moderate handling marks and dings. Action slightly off-face.
