Description:

The top of the barrel extension is dated 1917 and the toggle is marked "DWM" for Deutsch Waffen Und Munitionsfabriken, the factory that produced this pistol. Three Crown over Gothic Letter proofs are present on the right side of the extension. Matching numbers are present on the barrel, frame and extension. Small components marked "11". Some of the "11" numbers appear light. Properly marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" on the extractor and upper safety area. Fixed blade front sight and tangent rear with fine adjustment screw. Checkered wood grips and nickel magazine with wood base.

Rating Definition:

Very good overall, with 95% of the current blue, showing scattered light spotting and handling marks overall. The side plate, front edges of the frame, muzzle area and underside of the barrel show some thinning and wear, as well as the edges and high spots overall. Grips are good, with mild pressure dents and smoothing of the checkering. Action is very good.
