Rating Definition:

Very good as sporterized. This was a military rifle that was fitted with factory sporter features. The barrel retains approximately 60% of the original blue with a balance of smooth gray patina. The rest of the metal surface retain approximately 30% of the blue finish mixed with smooth brown patina. There is some pin point to moderate pitting. Most of the moderate pitting is located on the barrel. The stock is very good as revarnished with some moderate gouges and some minor dings and scratches. There is a minor crack near the receiver. The buttplate is slightly oversized. There are some minor traces of the current varnish on the metal components. Some minor dings on the chamber have partially obscured the markings. The rest of the markings are clear and crisp.
