Description:

Standard one line "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER A.-G. OBERNDORF a.N. MAUSER'S PATENT" marking on the left side of the slide, with "VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD. NEW-YORK" marked on the right side of the slide. Large Mauser banner on left side of frame with a "crown U" proof mark on the right front flat of the slide. The grips are one piece wraparound checkered walnut. Refer to pages 54 and 55 of "Mauser Pocket Pistols 1910-1946" by Roy G. Pender III for more information on this scarce variation of a Mauser Pistol. With fabric sleeve.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 95% of the original finish remaining. There is some wear on the high edges, a few scratches, and a few hints of a brown patina forming on the front strap. The grips are moderately worn, with some handling marks and pressure marks on the checkering.
