Description:

World War II production Walther Model PP pistol with war-time blue finish and two-piece black, checkered, plastic grips. The pistol has the firing pin indicator on the slide and the magazine release on the left side of the frame. The left side of the slide and frame are stamped with the "Eagle/WaA359" Army acceptance marks. "Eagle/N" proof marks are stamped on the right side of the barrel chamber and muzzle and the right side of the slide below the ejection port. The left side of the slide is roll-stamped with the Walther Banner and the two-line factory legend followed by "MOD PP". The serial number, "301450P" is marked vertically on the right side of the frame behind the trigger guard and on the right side of the slide in front of the ejection port. "WALTHER" is embossed in a ribbon at the top of each grip. The flat base magazine is stamped with the Walther Banner and the caliber on the lower left side. The serial number on the slide has had the (1) one factory over stamped.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The pistol retains nearly 90% of the original dull blue war-time finish. The pistol has minor edge wear and the slide and moderate finish wear on the grip straps. The military acceptance marks and factory markings are sharp. The bore is bright. The grips are in fine condition with light-moderate handling wear. This is a fine example of a WWII production Walther Mod. PP pistol with German Army acceptance stamps.
