Dated 1939 over the chamber and marked "42" on the top of the toggle. Two "eagle/655" proofs and the "eagle/swastika" firing proof appear on the right side of the receiver with the latter also appearing on the right side of the barrel and the left side of the breechblock. A smaller "eagle/655" is on the upper left rear of the barrel. The upper safety area and extractor are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively. The magazine is nickel finished with a wood base. The backstrap has a stock lug and the grips are the standard checkered walnut.

Very good overall, with 95% of the wartime blue finish, showing a bright gray patina along the high edges and some scattered light handling marks. Grips are very good, with some mild pressure dents. Numbers match except the magazine. Action is very good.
