This 1916 dated DWM Model 1914 Artillery Luger pistol has the 'fine tune' nine-position adjustable rear sight. The pistol has a rust blue finish with straw colored locking block, trigger, side safety lever, magazine release and ejector. Stocks are finely checkered beech. The mismatched magazine has a plated body with wooden bottom numbered "6875". Chamber is dated "1916" and the toggle link has the "DWM" script monogram. Left side of the extractor is marked "GELADEN" and the upper safety position is marked "GESICHERT". Imperial proof marks are stamped on the right side of the receiver and barrel and the left side of the breechblock. Matching numbers. With an extra magazine, nickel and wood numbered "2721", wood shoulder stock board with leather harness, an unmarked leather holster with cleaning rod and tool and a 32-round "snail" drum magazine.

Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing numerous scattered patches of moderate pitting, along with some mild handling marks and bright edge wear. Grips are very fine, with light pressure dents. Leather is fair, with scuffing and cracking. Mechanically fine, but magazine hold-open does not function
