Manufactured in 1945. The left side of the slide is marked with "REMINGTON RAND INC. / SYRACUSE, N.Y. U.S.A." and a "P" proof on top of the slide ahead of the rear sight. The right side of the frame is stamped with the faint Ordnance Corps cartouche behind the grips, "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and "M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY". The left side of the frame is marked with the "F.J.A." and "P" inspection marks. Checkered stamped type, thin hammer spur, serrated slide stop and mainspring housing. High Standard barrel, reinforced Keyes Fiber grips and a full blue magazine with "G" stamped on top of the toe. With a brown cardboard box hand numbered to gun, with nomenclature stamping on the lid for the pistol and two magazines.

Excellent, with 99.5% of the late light gray parkerized finish, showing signs of a bright gray patina along the high edges, a small area of pin-prick pitting on the right front section of the frame, and some mild handling marks. Grips are very good, with some minor pressure dents. Box is very good, with some dark staining and unknown residue on the exterior, and minor scuffing. Action is excellent.
