Manufactured in 1945. The left side of the slide is marked with "REMINGTON RAND INC / SYRACUSE, N.Y. U.S.A." and a "P" proof on top of the slide ahead of the rear sight. The right side of the frame is stamped with the faint Ordnance Corps cartouche behind the grips and a "5". The right side of the frame is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and "M1911A1 U.S. ARMY". The left side of the frame is marked with the "F.J.A." and "P" inspection marks above and below the magazine release respectively. The serial number has the late style "NO." marking. The trigger is the checkered stamped type, the hammer spur and thumb safety are checkered and the slide stop is serrated. High Standard barrel, with a pair of late style Keyes Fiber grips and a full blue magazine with a "R" stamped on top of the toe.

Excellent, with 98-99% of the parkerized finish, showing a few minor handling marks on the top left side of slide with some light edge wear overall. Grips are excellent, with some light pressure dents. Action is excellent.
