Casehardened black powder-style frame with early Bull's-Eye ejector rod head. The right side of the barrel has gold floral pattern surrounding the Colt factory, with a floral pattern surrounding the Colt logo on the left, all in gold. The unfluted cylinder has floral patterns, "WC" and a Rampant Colt all in gold. The backstrap has "Col. Sam Colt" scripted in gold letters. In a glass topped presentation case with burgundy velvet lining.

Near new in case, with a few traces of storage grease and minimal handling marks. Action is untested, with only hints of an incomplete drag line. Excellent case, with some light wear and darkening of the felt.
