Gauge: 9 mm
Barrel: 4 1/2 inch round
Finish: blue
Grip: plastic
Stock:
Item Views: 1035
Serial Number:
Catalog Page: 90
Class: Modern Handgun
Description:

Similar to the Beretta Model 951 pistol. Blade front and notch rear sights, with one line of Egyptian markings on the left side of the slide and two lines on the right. The frame has the serial number on the left, "DISASSEMB." on the right next to the takedown switch, crossbar safety, lanyard staple and ribbed grips with a medallion of a man in a fancy hat on each side. Though no translation has been performed on our end, the consignor states that the markings on the right side of the slide are a presentation inscription from Saddam Hussein to Hug Amo, a member of the Republican Guard, and goes on to state that the weapon was captured on Feb. 18, 2003 by a Captain in the 101st Airborne. Included with the gun is a clipped article related to Hussein's trial and a 250 Dinar bill with Hussein's image on it.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with half of the original blue finish. A gray patina with spots of brown is forming overall, with the original blue strongest in the lower areas and a few light scratches and dings overall. Grips are good, with mild scratching and handling marks. Action is very good.
