This is a carbine version of the M16A2 rifle. It is a "Transition" rifle, made between 1989 and 1994, with flash hider, but no bayonet lug. It has the A2-style fully adjustable rear sight with elevation adjustable front post. Birdcage flash hider with the short round ribbed handguard, barrel marked "C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7" on the top, standard magazine well markings, casing deflector, forward assist, checkered pistol grip and smooth buttstock with checkered trapdoor butt and cleaning gear. Included is the original Colt brown box numbered to the gun, with two magazines, sling, manual and additional cleaning tools.

Near new in original box, with some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
