Produced between 1993 and 2009, the Searcy is a popular rifle for big game hunting, with professional hunters in South Africa in particular being users of the arms. Polished bead front and fixed white line notch rear sights on raised solid quarter ribs, with "B. SEARCY & CO BORON CA. U.S.A." on the rear section of the rib and "470 NITRO EXPRESS" on the left chamber. The frame has the Searcy marking on each side, with scroll engraving accenting the screws, pins and safety, some light border work and a floral pattern on the break lever. Checkered pistol grip stock with sling bases, a left handed shadow-line cheekpiece and a thick solid Old English recoil pad.

Excellent, with 90% of the original blue, showing hints of a gray patina around the high edges and on the chambers, along with some scattered light handling marks. The frame is excellent, with some minor handling marks. Excellent stock, with minor dings, a slightly oversized recoil pad spacer, and excellent grain. Mechanically excellent.
