Description:

Blade and folding leaf sights, with a set of claw bases near the rear, marked "PIER'S - WAFFEN - WERKE/ SUHL TH." on the barrels around the front claw base, "KRUPP/ STAHL" and some light engraving on each side at the breech, 2 3/4 inch chambers, full choked. Casehardened frame with near full coverage engraving, scrollwork with a matte background on the top and bottom, animal scenes on each side, and a bear behind a gold inlaid "PATENT BEHR" on each side at the breech. Double triggers, with screw adjustable front, Greener side safety, horn guard and upper tang safety. Replacement smooth beavertail forearm with a non-factory knuckle and checkered pistol grip with a horn cap, right handed cheekpiece, sling swivel, engraved cartridge compartment and a checkered horn butt.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with 95% of the blue on the refinished barrels, showing some scattered light spotting, concentrated in the low areas. Case colors remain in the protected areas of the frame, strongest under the break lever. Fair stock with crude replacement forearm, scattered light pressure dents and a small chip on the trigger guard. Mechanically fine.
