Description:

Typical Pre-WWI combination gun with blade front sight with a set of original scope bases on a solid rib. Light scroll engraved frame and lock plates. Damascus twist shotgun barrel with extractor. There are no visible maker markings. Checkered straight grip stock with sling swivels, double hammers and triggers, iron under cocking lever and horn trigger guard, raised cheekpiece and smooth iron buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very good overall with both barrels exhibiting 95% of a smooth blue/brown patina the receiver/action showing 10-15% of a brown patina. Both barrels have moderate muzzle wear. The rest of the metal surfaces exhibit a balance between a smooth brown patina and a smooth dark patina. The wood is very good with some heavy gouges and some minor to moderate scratches, dings, dents and nicks. The forearm checkering has worn smooth and the wrist checkering shows moderate wear. The engraving is clear.
