Single brass bead on the matte concave rib, with light engraving at the breech, "SUHLER - WAFFENFABRIK" on the right barrel and "ROB. SCHLEGELMILICH SUHL" on the right. Casehardened frame and lock plates with curved hammers and near full coverage scenes and floral engraving, showing a deer and two birds on the left side, a running rabbit and a dog with a bird in its mouth on the right. Checkered round knob pistol grip stock with sling swivels, forearm with engraved hardware, raised cheekpiece and checkered horn buttplate.

Partially refinished, with 95% of the dull blue on the barrels, showing the start of a light brown patina on the underside, a bright gray with some minor dings on the muzzle, and scattered light dings. A silver gray patina has formed on the frame and plates, with some traces of original color in the protected areas. Stock is very good, with a number of pressure dents and chipping of the buttplate.
