Single bead sight on a concave solid matte rib. The barrels feature 2 9/16 inch chambers, with ejector. The left barrel is marked with a nitro proof and "EHRHART", right barrel is marked with a nitro proof and "STUHL" and various "crown/letter" proofs on the barrel undersides. Both barrels have a band of engraving with gold dot inlays at the breech. The scallop frame was once casehardened and is deeply engraved with oak leaves and gold acorns on the top with the rest of the frame featuring a fine scroll engraved pattern. There are gold dot inlays surrounding the action hinge screw and two gold inlay ducks on the underside. The underside of the frame is marked with a maker's marking that is partially obscured by the horn trigger guard. The upper tang is scroll border engraved and line engraving on the forearm hardware. Double triggers, cocking indicators and upper tang safety. Mounted with a pistol grip stock with multi-point fine checkered forearm with ebony insert, raised cheekpiece, sling swivels, horn grip cap and basket weaved buttplate. The side flats have an ebony inlay with ivory dot.

Partially refinished. The barrels retain approximately 99% of the current blue finish with a brown patina forming near the muzzles. There is some covered pin prick pitting. The case color has turned to a smooth satin coin with moderate traces of case color remaining. The wood is good. The forearm has been repaired with wood putty near the tip and is cracked on the left side and the buttstock has also been repaired with wood putty. Overall, the wood exhibits some minor to moderate chips, dings, dents and scratches. The grip cap has some moderate cracking. There are some minor dings in the very good checkering. The trigger guard has a repair and there is a large dent on the left stock flat. The engraving is clear and sharp.
