Manufactured in Belgium from 1956 to 1974. Features fixed dovetail bead front and adjustable rear fold-down sights on a take-down barrel with a select European walnut checkered pistol grip stock and semi-beaver tail forearm, gold plated trigger and serrated black metal buttplate. The barrel is marked, "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q./ MADE IN BELGIUM" on the left, and "22 LONG RIFLE" on the right. The receiver is floral and border scroll engraved with a squirrel sitting in a pine tree, and the left side is engraved with a fox. Signed by engraver P. Lallemand. In addition, the top of the receiver is similarly engraved with a rabbit. Complete with papers/manual and Browning simulated leather faux fleece lined locking takedown case with two keys.
