Description:

Equipped with a raised silver blade front sight, barrel mounted folding leaf with silver line graduated to "500", and a receiver mounted spring loaded peep sight. Marked ".280 ROSS/ PROVED 28 TONS/ MADE IN CANADA" on the barrel ahead of a crossed banner proof, and "ROSS RIFLE CO./ CANADA/ M-1910/ PATENTED" on the receiver ring. Checkered pistol grip stock with Schnabel tip forearm, single reinforcing bolt, brown leather Boyt sling, and a flat checkered buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with 90% of the blue finish, showing a brown patina around the barrel sights, light scratching, minimal dings and a bright gray patina along the high edges. Stock is very good, with a number of pressure dents, concentrated on the left side near the reinforcing bolt, light scratches and minimal varnish loss. The action is excellent.
