This high quality and unique rifle was manufactured for Colt by J.P. Sauer & Son of West Germany. The rifle features a non-rotating bolt that makes the Colt Sauer action smoother functioning than most. Hooded ramp front and adjustable notch rear sights, with the top of the receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounts. One piece high gloss stock with a checkered forearm and pistol grip with a rosewood forend tip and grip cap with the Rampant Colt on it, raised comb, cheekpiece, black rubber vented Colt Sauer recoil pad and sling swivel studs (sling swivels included). Complete with factory box numbered to the gun. Colt discontinued this rifle in 1985.

Excellent plus with virtually all of the original blue finish remaining with only the slightest handling marks. The stock is excellent with only the slightest handling marks. The box is excellent.
