Made in 1963 with no makers markings. Solid rib barrels have a small front sight bead and folding single leaf rear. The shotgun chamber is 2 3/4 and the choke is extra full. The 4X36mm Johann Fanzol scope has a heavy post/crosshair reticule with German quick detachable claw mounts. The side plate box lock action has full coverage scroll and game scene engraving. The left side plate has field scene with a pair of red stags. The right plate has pair of chamois. The bottom of the action has a timber scene with an Averhorn. Tang safety, set trigger for the rifle, Kersten type cross bolt and blue engraved trigger guard. The pistol grip English walnut stock has a shadow line cheekpiece, multi-point checkering, white line black grip cap and Pachmayr vented recoil pad. Checkered forearm with engraved latch assembly and knuckle. Sling swivels on the rifle barrel and buttstock.

Excellent plus with 99% blue. The engraving is outstanding and as new. The stock is excellent with a few slight handling marks. An outstanding modern combination gun in the very popular 7X57 rimmed Mauser caliber.
