The rifle chambers are for the 500 3 inch Nitro Express. The scalloped frame under lever action has full coverage floral and game scene engraving. The right side game scene is a wild boar and hound. The left side has two roe bucks and a flying duck. The action is marked "Patent W. Collath" and "Frankfurt A.O." The upper tang has a stag head and a tang sight that has been permanently fixed in the closed/down position. Tang safety and barrel selector on the right side of the horn trigger guard. Double triggers and horn operating lever. Straight grip stock with cheekpiece, checkering, engraved four cartridge trap, horn buttplate and sling swivels. Fine as refurbished with 99% blue on the barrels. Action has been cleaned bright with good engraving. Excellent horn lever, guard and buttplate. Good optics. Tight action. A very rare Doppelbuchsdrilling.
