Produced in 1962 and 1963 in response to public demand for small caliber, high velocity handguns, only 3300 of these pistols were produced. Built on the frame and action of a Ruger flattop single action revolver, with a rotating breechblock in place of the cylinder. Ramp blade front sight on the barrel, marked "RUGER HAWKEYE/ WIN. .256 MAG. CAL.". A Bushnell Phantom 1.3x15 scope is mounted on the barrel. Standard receiver markings, smooth grips with black eagle Ruger medallions. With three boxes of Western Super-X 256 Magnum ammunition.

Excellent, with 95% of the original blue, showing some light handling marks overall. Grips are very good, with mild pressure dents. Optics are very good and the action is excellent.
