Originating as a custom weapon made in the 1980s, this is a hunting style knife combined with a single shot 45 ACP pistol. The blade measures 5 1/2", and the pistol barrel is mounted on the spine. The barrel has a 1 1/2" extension, tapered to blend in with the false edge, and is marked "45 ACP" on the right side. The rear of the grip is marked "SAN JUAN ENTERPRISES/ PEYTON, CO 005". A traverse pin with spring loaded lever holds the barrel in place, with a spur hammer, spur trigger, and a middle finger grip safety. Black micarta grips. In box with a pair of spent casings and the owners manual. Please note that this weapon is designated a "Pistol" by the ATF, not "Any Other Weapon" or "Non-Gun".
