Description:

The Third Model single shot pistol was made from 1909 to 1923 with approximately 7,000 made. This pistol is standard, with pinned front sight and adjustable rear sight on the barrel latch. Standard barrel markings and two line address/patent dates rib marking. Fitted with checkered grips. With an unmarked sleeve.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with approximately 95% of the original blue finish remaining with some moderate muzzle wear and gray patina on the high edges. The barrel sides have some streaks of brown patina mixed with some brown spotting. The barrel underside has some smooth brown patina mixed with smooth gray patina. There is some brown spotting on the left side of the frame. The trigger and hammer retain light traces of vivid case color. The grips are excellent with some light bottom edge wear. The checkering is sharp. The markings are clear and crisp. The sleeve is good with some moderate moth damage and some light edge fraying. A snap is missing. The stitching is tight.
