Reintroduced in 1993. Fixed sights, serrated hammer, smooth trigger, six round fluted cylinder, shrouded ejector rod and wraparound checkered grips. The barrel is marked "DETECTIVE SPECIAL/ .38 SPECIAL CTG." on the left, and the Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame behind the cylinder. The Colt Hartford address is on the right side of the barrel. Complete with original brown wood grained Colt box numbered to gun and papers.

Excellent plus with approximately 99% of the finish remaining and light handling marks. The grips are excellent with a tiny ding on the butt, the checkering is sharp. The box is excellent, light handling wear on the corners. The label is excellent, firmly attached and all information clear.
