Introduced in 1955. Fixed front and adjustable rear sights, standard model, caliber and address markings on the barrel, Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame, serrated trigger and backstrap, checkered hammer and grips with medallions. The right medallion is upside-down.

Excellent as refinished, with 95% of the current blue, showing bright gray spots on the barrel, concentrated on the left side and around the muzzle, cylinder, the front of the trigger guard and high edges, along with some mild handling marks. Grips are good as noted, with a cut in the rear of the left grip, pressure dents, and wear on the checkering. Action is excellent.
