The casehardened frame features a floral type engraving with "PROWETT" marked on the left side and "LONDON" marked on the right side. A star burst is engraved on the trigger guard. The pistol is equipped with a sliding safety and on the left side of the frame is a button to turn the vent tube to either lower or upper barrel. Birmingham proofs are marked on each rifled barrel and on the underside of the frame. The serial number (23) is marked on the left side of the frame, with "2" marked on the lower barrel and "3" marked on the upper barrel. Smooth one piece grip.

Good. The barrels have a smooth dark gray patina with some light pitting. The remaining metal surfaces have a smooth gray patina. The grip is fine with some minor dings and scratches. The engraving and markings are clear. Mechanically fine.
