Marlin Deluxe Factory Engraved Model 1893 Lever Action Takedown
Manufactured in 1893 to 1935. The top of the barrel is marked "MARLIN FIRE-ARMS CO. NEW-HAVEN, CT. U.S.A. / PATENTED. OCT. 11. 1887, APRIL 2. 1889, AUG. 1, 1893." and "30-30" at the breech, with "SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL" on the upper left flat. The top of the receiver is marked "MARLIN SAFETY". The part octagon barrel is fitted with a Lyman blade front sight (missing bead) and a semi-buckhorn rear sight. A folding peep sight is mounted on the upper tang. The frame features a scroll engraving with stag scenes on the sides: a single stag on the right and a fox chasing a stag on the left. Wedges of scrollwork are engraved on the barrel flats at the breech, with the scroll pattern extended to the barrel extension. Blue barrel and half length latch type magazine tube, with the remaining surfaces casehardened. Mounted with a select walnut pistol grip stock featuring No. A fine checkering consisting of a large diamond on the bottom of the forearm and simple coverage at the grip. The stock is fitted with a checkered hard rubber Marlin buttplate and a small German silver shield shaped plaque that is flush mounted to the right side with the name "Edward Field Goltra".

Factory Engraved Deluxe Marlin Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle
This is a fine example of a nickel plated factory engraved Marlin Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle. The rifle is stamped with the second address/patent date variation: "MARLIN FIRE-ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN CT. U.S.A. / PAT'D NOV. 19. 1878. APRIL. 2. 1889. AUG. 12. 1890. MARCH 1, 1892." Full length, latch type magazine, combination beach front sight and sporting rear sight. The receiver features an extensive factory scroll engraving on a punch dot background with a stag scene on the left side. The scrollwork is also featured on the barrel at the breech in 2 inch wedges. The top of the receiver is stamped "MARLIN SAFETY" flanked by floral designs. Mounted on a select walnut pistol grip stock with No. B type fine checkering. The forearm checkering has double point front and rear ends on both sides and grip coverage has a double pointed front end and single point toward the butt. The stock is fitted with a crescent buttplate.

Marlin Model 1895 Lever Action Rifle
Manufactured between 1895 and 1917 with a total production of only about 18,000. These rifles were the answer to the Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle and although they never attained the same status as the Winchester rifles, some consider them to be a better and stronger than the Winchester rifles. The top of the barrel ahead of the rear sight is marked "MARLIN FIREARMS CO. NEW-HAVEN, CT. U.S.A. / PATENTED.OCT. 11. 1887, APRIL 2. 1889, AUGUST 1. 1893" and the left side is marked "SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL" . The top of the receiver is marked in script "MARLIN SAFETY" and the upper tang is marked "MODEL / 1895". It is equipped with a German silver blade front and adjustable sporting rear sights, standard full length magazine tube and smooth forearm with a straight grip stock and crescent buttplate.

This is a fine example of a late production Marlin Model 1893 Lever Action Rifle. The rifle has a blued octagon with full-length magazine. The receiver, hammer and loading lever have a color case-hardened finish. The forearm cap and carbine style buttplate are blued. The stock and forearm are straight grain walnut with a varnish finish. The barrel is fitted with a 'Rocky Mountain' front sight with German silver blade and a sporting style rear sight. The top barrel flat is roll-stamped with the post 1919 legend: "The Marlin Firearms Corporation / - NEW HAVEN. CONN. U.S.A. - PATENTED- " in two lines ahead of the front sight. The left side of the barrel is roll-stamped: "-SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL-" below the rear sight. The caliber, ".32 SPECIAL" is roll-stamped on the left barrel flat just ahead of the receiver. The top of the receiver is roll-stamped "- MARLIN SAFETY-" with stylized arrows on either end of the marking. The upper receiver tang is stamped with the designation "MARLIN/MODEL 93" in two lines. The "5995" is stamped on the lower tang.

This is an example of a standard production 1895 lever action rifle. The top of the barrel has the two line address and is marked "Marlin Firearms Co. New Haven Ct. U.S.A., over the patent dates of Oct. 11, 1887, April 2, 1889 and August 1, 1893," The top rear section of the barrel is marked "40-65" intended to be for the old black powder cartridges. The top of the receiver is marked "MARLIN SAFETY", and the top of the tang is marked "MODEL 1895". The top of the barrel is fitted with a Marbles bead front sight, and a Marbles adjustable rear sight. It has the straight grip walnut stock and forend.

Winchester Third Model 1866 Musket manufactured in 1869. The musket has a round barrel with 3/4 length magazine and three barrel bands. The upper barrel band has a lug for a saber bayonet. The barrel has an iron stud front sight and folding leaf rear sight. Sling swivels are located on the middle barrel band and stock. The stock has a brass, carbine style, buttplate with sliding butt trap. The forearm and stock are oil-finished walnut. This rifle was manufactured in 1925 and features a Lyman blade front sight with a ivory bead and adjustable buck horn rear sight. The left side of the barrel is marked "NICKEL STEEL BARREL / ESPECIALLY FOR SMOKELESS POWDER" and "35 W.C.F.". The left side of the action is marked with the two line address and patent dates, the Winchester oval proof is marked on the barrel and receiver at the breech and the upper tang is marked " MODEL 1895 / WINCHESTER / TRADE MARK REG. The letter states that the rifle was received in warehouse on 6 September 1904 and shipped from the warehouse on 29 September 1905 (order number 29134). The barrel is stamped with the two line top barrel flat address/patent date marking, the left barrel flat two line nickel steel marking and "25-35 W.C.F." at the breech. Manufactured in 1906, this Model 1873 carbine is a Third Model with the dust cover operating on the central guide that is integrally machined as part of the receiver. Fixed front and sporting leaf rear sights (elevator missing), with the saddle ring staple removed. The top of the barrel is stamped with the two line address/patent date marking and "38 W.C.F." at the breech. The upper tang is marked with the model designation, serial number on the lower tang, and a very faint "38 CAL" on the brass cartridge elevator. This is a good example of a standard Winchester 1886 lever action rifle produced in the big 45-90 cartridge. It has the standard two line barrel markings of "---MANUFACTURED BY THE -----, /----WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN CONN. U.S.A.-----". The tang has the early markings of "----MODEL 1886----" with the two line patent dates on the lower tang directly behind the trigger. The barrel has the half German silver blade front sight with a replacement rear adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight. It has a walnut straight grip stock with a crescent butt plate and a walnut forend. Originally the rifle had the all blued finish with the color case hardened receiver, loading lever, forend cap and butt plate.
