No markings are visible on the lock, with cut-through decoration on the wheel cover and light engraving on the serpentine arm and spring. Smooth straight grip stock with horn tip, ramrod pipes, and accent pieces, a contoured cheekpiece and bone inserts, including leaf patterns on the right side of the buttstock, a naked spearman on horseback on the patch box, and a bust of a gentleman on the cheekpiece, contoured to match, with diamond shaped floral engraved mother of pearl flanking panels and an bone buttplate. Stag accented sliding patch box with an incised/scrimshawed bone insert of a spear wielding warrior on a horse.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with some mild spotting on the bright barrel, areas of shallow pitting and mild handling marks. Stock is very good, with a screw absent from the left side, scattered scratches, and fine bone, pearl, and stag inlays.
