Description:

This revolver was sold by the high end retailer F. Primavesi and Son of Cardiff. The double action revolver has a 12 chambered 7.65mm pinfire cylinder with a loading gate and an ejector rod on the right side. Raised low blade front sight on a barrel marked "F. PRIMAVESI, & SON CARDIFF". British proofs are stamped in each cylinder flute and on the barrel underside. "LONDON" followed by the serial number is marked on the right side of the frame. Fitted with finely checkered two piece grip with a lanyard ring on the butt. In a partitioned wooden case lined in blue felt.

Rating Definition:

Good. The revolver has a smooth dull gray-brown patina with some light spotting and pin point pitting. The grips are excellent with limited light handling marks. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically functions, but is a little stiff; needs work. The markings are clear. The case is fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches. The interior has been indented, ripped, which was caused by the cylinder and some minor wear to the lining.
