This is an exceptional example of a Mauser black widow Luger dated "41" on the chamber and marked "byf" on the toggle. The left side of the barrel extension is marked with the serial number and the left rear of the frame is marked "P.08". The extractor and upper safety area are marked "GELADEN" and "GESICHERT" respectively. The front of the frame and underside of the barrel are marked with the serial number. The right side of the barrel extension is marked with a pair of "eagle/ 655" proofs and an Eagle firing proof and the barrel is marked with an Eagle firing proof and a Eagle/655 proof. Matching partial numbers on the small parts. Blue "fxo" P.08 magazine with blank plastic base. Fitted with checkered black plastic grips.

Excellent. The pistol retains approximately 98% plus original blue finish with some mild holster wear, some light scratches and very mild thinning on the grip straps. There is numerous pin pitting contained to the barrel. The grips are excellent with a few light dings. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent. This would most truly fill the slot in one's collection as an excellent example of a P.08 "black widow" Luger.
