One of the P.08 Lugers manufactured by Krieghoff in 1936. Dated "1936" on the chamber, with the toggle marked with the later pattern "H anchor K / KREIGHOFF / SUHL". A set of three "eagle/ 2" proofs are on the right side of the extension, with additional proofs on the barrel and breechblock. Matching numbers on the barrel, frame and extension, with matching partial numbers on the trigger and safety components. The side plate is a crude replacement. Grips are checkered brown plastic and the magazine is blue with an aluminum base.

Refinished (with a replacement side plate) with most of the dull dip blue finish remaining, with most of the surface turned a mixed brown patina and original blue strongest in the protected areas. Grips are very fine, with some light pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
