The left side of the slide is marked "P.38" next to "ac/41" and then the serial number. The right side of the slide has a single eagle firing proof and the two "eagle/359" acceptance proofs of the Walther factory. The left and right side of the frame, safety and top of slide have the same "eagle/359" acceptance proof. High gloss blue finish. Fitted with brown ribbed grips with a magazine marked "P.38" on the left side of the body, numbered "2936g" on the base and a single "eagle/359" Waffenamt proof on the spine. Complete with a P38 black leather holster marked with an "eagle/WaA383" and "bmo41" on the back.

Excellent, with approximately 95% of the bright original blue finish remaining with heavy muzzle wear, gray patina on the high edges and some patches of gray patina on the barrel and trigger guard. There is a gray patina forming on the front grip strap and some minor scratches overall. The grips are excellent with only a few very light dings and light scratches. The markings are clear and crisp. The holster is fine with some minor dings and scratches with tight stitching. The action is excellent.
