The left side of the slide has the Mauser Banner and two-line markings, "Mauser-Werke A.G. Oberndorf a.N./ Mod. HS c. Kal. 7,65 mm". On the right side of the pistol the rear section of the trigger guard has the Nazi "eagle/ N" commercial proof, and the left side has the "eagle/ M / 6" Kreigsmarine marking. The large "eagle/M" marking is stamped on the front grip strap. The grips are two piece checkered.

Excellent. The pistol retains over 95% original blue finish with thinning and wear on the front and rear grip straps and some light wear on the high edges. The grips are excellent with some scattered minor dings and scratches.
