The left side of the slide is marked "P.38 480" followed by the serial number, with two eagle/359 proofs and an eagle/swastika proof, all slide markings highlighted in white. The "480" code is also present on the left side of the trigger guard bow in white. The serial number is also marked on the front of the barrel lug and left side of the frame, all in white. Additional eagle/359 proofs are stamped on left sides of the frame, slide release, barrel lug, locking block, on top of slide and magazine spin. Consignor states that the pistol was restored by Gale Morgan.

Professionally restored to near mint with only the slightest handling marks and some mild thinning of the front grip strap. Mechanically excellent.
