Description:

The left side of the slide is marked "P.38 ac/40" with the serial number, and the right side has the "eagle/ swastika" firing proof flanked by "WaA 359" proofs. In addition to the "AC/40" code on the slide, this one also has the "AC" on the left side of the trigger guard. "WaA359" Waffenamt stamp on all major parts and some of the small ones. The grips are brown bake-lite plastic, and the "P.38" marked magazine is numbered to the gun and has two "WaA259" Waffenamt stamps on the spine.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The pistol retains approximately 75% of the bright original blue with gray on the high edges, a smooth gray patina (mostly on the front grip strap) and some minor fading. The grips are excellent with few handling markings. Mechanically excellent.
