Manufactured from 1901 to 1906. Features a single brass bead on the solid concave rib, gold washed double triggers, tang mounted safety, 3 inch chambers and extractor. The casehardened action is marked with "ITHACA GUN CO" contouring the fences, engraved hunting dogs on both the left and right sides with a mallard duck in flight on the bottom. The engraved trigger guard features a game bird. Serial number and "4 / 10" marked on the water table. Mounted with a checkered splinter forearm with a replacement wood insert and a Fleur-de-Lis checkered pistol grip stock with a gold initial shield, hard rubber grip cap and butt plate. Very good as partially refinished. The barrels retain 80% of the new blue finish with thinning overall, light spotting and covered over pitting. The receiver has aged to a smooth gray patina with shadows of case colors in the protected areas. All markings remain crisp. The wood has been freshened at some point and shows light handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent.
