Manufactured in 1927. This pistol has the standard two line address/patent dates marked on the left side of the slide, with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations. Serial number marked on the left side of frame and "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 25" on the right side of the slide. All nickel finish with period pearl grips without medallions. Has a "CAL. 25/COLT" marked magazine. In a Colt leatherette presentation case that is lined with purple velvet and satin and "COLT" in gold on the inside of the lid.

Excellent. The pistol retains approximately 99% original nickel finish with some loss at the gripping areas and under the grips, and some fine scratches. The markings are clear and crisp. There is a chip missing on the right panel at the bottom, otherwise the grips are very fine with minimal handling marks and a couple light edge chips. The case is very fine with the exterior showing some paper loss with some exposed slightly worn wood on the edges and some scattered very light staining contained to the lid. The interior is very fine, showing some minor wear and a clear and full Colt logo.
