Fixed sights, with the three line Colt patent markings next to the Savage "flaming bomb" logo on the left side and "MODEL OF 1911.U.S.ARMY" on the right. The left side of the frame is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and "H/ G" is on top, otherwise no inspector's mark (proper). Smooth long trigger, wide hammer, short grip safety, checkered slide stop and safety, and flat mainspring housing with lanyard ring. Grips are checkered walnut with diamond patterns, magazine is two-tone with lanyard staple, and the barrel has Flannery Bolt Company markings. This is a nice example of one of these to fill a slot in your collection.

Excellent, with approximately 97% of the original dull military blue, showing bright wear along the high edges, scattered handling marks and dings, and small areas of brown and gray patina. Grips are very fine, with some light pressure dents. Mechanically excellent
