This is a near new example of a late WWII M1 Carbine that was produced by the Inland Division of General Motors, that has been retrofitted with a commercial folding paratrooper stock. The front receiver ring has the standard markings with the rear marked 'INLAND DIV' over the serial number and the standard barrel markings over 44, for the year of manufacture. It is currently fitted with a mix of early and late components, currently it has the early flip rear sight, with the second model style barrel band, the flip safety, and M2 style magazine catch with the blued round bolt. The stock is a new production commercial paratrooper model that duplicates the original version. It has the side folding metal stock with the leather cheek piece and folding butt plate. The stock and hand guard both have a medium brown color and the carbine has a light gray GI parkerized finish on the barrel, receiver and operating slide with a blue bolt and a medium green parkerized finish on the trigger housing and internal parts. It is complete with one blued magazine that is marked 'U' on the back and a green canvas sling,

Rating Definition:

Excellent overall with 99% of the parkerized finish overall. The stock assembly and hand guard are both in excellent condition showing some minor handling marks on the left and underside of the forend. The markings are clear and sharp
